Respiratory Therapy Intern, Jewish Hospital, PRN

Under direct supervision, the intern provides patient care allowed by their student license, including administering non-Medicated and aerosolized therapies, oxygen therapy, and performing incentive spirometry. The role also involves cleaning equipment, administering bronchial hygiene, performing cpr during resuscitation, and assisting in rapid response calls.

Candidates must have completed at least one year of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program with a minimum gpa of 2.0, which must be maintained throughout employment. Required credentials include a limited mandatory certificate from the kentucky board of respiratory care and basic life support (Bls) certification from the aha.
