Day Program DSP

The community integration counselor assists individuals with disabilities in learning physical, intellectual, emotional, and social life skills necessary for community living and provides individualized support to help participants overcome daily difficulties. Responsibilities include encouraging independence, meeting with participants, supporting community integration efforts, administering medications, and coordinating activities.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A valid driver's license with a satisfactory record is mandatory, along with the ability to build supportive relationships.
