Part Time Teacher Assistant Child Care

The primary responsibilities involve ensuring the health and safety of children through constant supervision and interacting with them using positive, developmentally appropriate techniques. Assistants must also follow established lesson plans, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

Candidates must possess a child development associate (Cda) diploma or 12 credit hours in early childhood education for accredited centers, along with one or more years of experience in an early childhood classroom or similar setting. Required certifications include pediatric first aid and cpr, mandated reporting training, and completion of child care preservice within 90 days of hire.
