Camp Counselor, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office YMCA Camp

This role involves providing direct supervision for a group of children in a seasonal day camp, ensuring their safety and welfare during all activities. Responsibilities include acquainting children with program rules, assisting with activity implementation, and maintaining positive relationships with participants and caregivers.

Candidates should ideally have a high school diploma or equivalent, with one year or more of college preferred, and previous experience working with children, preferably in a day camp setting. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and obtain cpr, first aid, aed certifications, and child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire.
