Lifeguard and/or Swim Instructor , Frank Deluca YMCA Family Center

Lifeguards and swim instructors must maintain constant surveillance of the pool area, respond immediately to emergencies, and ensure a safe and positive atmosphere for members and participants. Swim instructors specifically provide swimming and water safety instruction to students of all ages and abilities.

Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old and possess current cpr/Aed, first aid, and oxygen administration certifications by the hire date, with required lifeguard or swim instructor certifications also mandatory. Previous experience is a plus, and a successful background screening is required.
