Camp Counselor, Pinecrest Elementary Charter School YMCA Camp

This role involves providing direct supervision for a group of children in a seasonal day camp, creating positive relationships, and facilitating peer connections as part of the camp experience. Responsibilities also include ensuring child safety, implementing activity plans, maintaining equipment, and accurately recording attendance and incidents.

Candidates should ideally be a high school graduate or equivalent, with one or more years of college preferred, and possess previous experience working with children, preferably in a day camp setting. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and must obtain cpr, first aid, aed certifications, and child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire.
