Direct Support Professional

Direct support professionals ensure the safety and health of individuals attending the day program while supervising, coaching, and assisting them in achieving daily living goals like cooking and cleaning. They also plan and document programs to meet social, emotional, and physical needs, and participate in community outings and job opportunities.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or ged, be at least 18 years old, and hold a valid non-Provisional driver's license. Essential qualities include being empathetic and demonstrating a team approach to care.
