Day Camp Counselor- Sussex Millsboro Camp

Counselors must supervise children and all assigned activities while maintaining safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate childcare practices. This includes providing daily care, engaging children in activities, implementing positive behavior management, and communicating effectively with staff and parents.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old with previous camp or group childcare experience, and must be at least four years older than any child in their direct care. Successful completion of required background checks and demonstration of strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to manage a classroom environment are mandatory.
