Early Childhood Intern- Central YMCA Family Location

The intern will be responsible for supervising children and the classroom while ensuring safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate childcare practices are followed. This includes providing daily care, engaging children in activities, implementing positive behavior management, and assisting with planning and observation documentation.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old (Or 15 under specific vocational/Technical program conditions) and meet educational requirements, such as completing 15 clock hours of quality training or three college credits in early childhood education. All applicants must also pass required background checks and provide documentation for physical and tuberculosis screenings.
