Job description
Hebrew Academy on Miami Beach is seeking a 5th grade lead Judaic Studies teacher for a full-time position beginning in August 2026. Our Judaic teachers are passionate about instilling a deep appreciation for Jewish traditions, culture, and values and play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
The Ideal Candidate Will

- Foster an understanding and appreciation for Jewish traditions, culture, the study of Torah, Tefillah, and the people and land of Israel.
- Help students develop into responsible global citizens and proud representatives of the Jewish people, instilling a commitment to social justice.
- Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and personal integrity in all aspects of their role.
Responsibilities
- As an 5th grade Limudei Kodesh teacher, you will teach all core Judaic subjects to a co-ed class of approximately 20 students. In addition, you will:
- Contribute to the holistic development of your students
- Nurture the student’s connection to Judaism
- Guide students towards becoming informed, compassionate individuals.

- Full time - 7:45am - 4:00pm Mon-Thurs; 7:45am – 1:50pm on Fri
