Responsibilities include obtaining patient data such as vital signs, assisting patients with personal care like bathing and oral hygiene, and performing specific clinical tasks like removing peripheral ivs and collecting specimens under direction. The role also involves assisting with patient mobility, turning and positioning immobile patients, and transporting patients to treatment areas.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited adn or bsn nursing program and provide proof of completing the first year or fundamentals of nursing. Required qualifications also include knowledge of basic nursing techniques, aseptic practices, effective verbal and written communication skills, and current bls certification upon hire.
