The student support counselor will manage a caseload, providing direct clinical and case management services including individual and group counseling, interventions, assessments, and referrals for learners facing educational achievement difficulties due to social, emotional, or learning challenges. Key duties include designated instructional service (Dis) counseling for ieps, consulting with stakeholders, interpreting student data, and coordinating mental health and wellness information.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field, along with a required pupil personnel services credential specializing in school counseling. Essential qualifications include the ability to work well with children, exercise patience and tact, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
