Responsibilities also include maintaining operatories, ensuring proper sterilization according to guidelines, managing patient records, entering treatment charges, and handling patient/Provider phone calls.

Candidates must possess a high school/Ged and a massachusetts dental assistant license, with experience requirements varying between 0-2 years for a dental assistant or 3-5 years for a senior dental assistant. Proficiency in sterile technique, knowledge of hipaa and osha compliance regarding infection control, and experience assisting various specialties are essential.
