Counselor

The counselor provides comprehensive services including personal, academic, career, and crisis counseling to help students overcome barriers to their goals. Key duties involve managing a caseload of at-Risk students, responding to crises, providing career exploration assistance, and ensuring ada/504 compliance through accommodation review and policy education.

Candidates must possess a master's degree with a concentration in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, or psychology, along with a minimum of three years of experience counseling adult populations, preferably in higher education. A valid texas driver license and required counseling licensure (Lpc, lmft, lcsw, or licensed psychologist) are mandatory.
