Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians work one-On-One with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team, requiring them to be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or ged. Applicants must also be physically capable of various movements and lifting up to 50 pounds, and must pass a background check.
