Direct Support Professional

The role involves fostering pride in individuals by teaching them daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry, while enhancing their independence through assistance with daily and personal activities. Work is performed under the supervision of the house manager, involving observation and reporting.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license, with a strong desire to help others reach their fullest potential. Experience in a home health aide or school setting working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as dual diagnosis experience, is preferred.
