Assistive Technology Coordinator

This role involves overseeing all operations of the assistive technology lab, including student assistance, training in accommodations, procurement, installation of at, and coordination with faculty for accessible course materials. Key duties include producing accessible alternative formats for course materials, providing one-On-One at training, managing lab equipment, and coordinating in-House video captioning services.

Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree in a related field like information technology or computer science, along with one year of experience in assistive technology assessments and alternative media production, which can be substituted by related technical experience year-For-Year. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and two years of relevant experience, especially in training students with disabilities and working with accessibility standards like wcag 2.2.
