Academic Learning Specialist atPromise

The academic learning specialist is responsible for leading and providing individual or small group academic support during the afterschool program, ensuring all decisions align with bright from the start/Decal and metro atlanta ymca program standards. This role involves supervising academic assignments, developing learning materials, and communicating with teachers and parents regarding student learning needs.

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and possess a tcc or cda in education, with a minimum of one year of experience working with school-Age children in a group setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with experience using microsoft office and platforms like google classroom and zoom, are required.
