Direct Support Professional (Day Program)

The direct support professional ensures the safety and health of individuals attending the day program while supervising and coaching them in achieving daily living goals such as cooking and cleaning. Responsibilities also include planning and documenting programs to meet individuals' social, emotional, and physical needs, and facilitating community-Based activities and transportation.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or ged and hold a valid non-Provisional driver's license, being at least 18 years old. Essential qualities include being empathetic and maintaining a team-Oriented approach to care, along with attending ten days of paid onsite orientation.
