Club leaders are responsible for ensuring a fun and positive learning environment for club participants, supporting groups of approximately 20 children, and developing/Leading age-Appropriate, engaging activities aligned with a whole-Child approach. They must also maintain student safety, monitor attendance, build positive relationships, and collaborate on culminating events.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have knowledge and experience in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities, along with a minimum high school diploma or ged (Aa in child development preferred). Essential requirements include the ability to work well with youth, good communication skills, computer literacy, and passing background checks, tb clearance, cpr certification, and an assessment test covering math, reading comprehension, and spelling.
