Core responsibilities

Club leaders are responsible for ensuring a fun and positive learning environment for groups of approximately 20 children, which includes promoting safety, inclusivity, and leading age-Appropriate, engaging program activities aligned with a whole-Child approach. They must also monitor attendance, build positive relationships with participants and staff, collaborate on culminating events, request materials timely, and comply with all safety protocols.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities, with a minimum of a high school diploma or ged, though an associate degree in child development is preferred. Essential requirements include the ability to work well with k-12 students, good communication skills, computer literacy, and successfully passing assessments, live scan, tb clearance, and cpr certification.
