Ex Ed Teacher

The primary role involves ensuring students with disabilities achieve their highest potential by identifying individual needs, creating supportive learning environments, and serving as a case manager and instructional connector. This teacher will provide academic and behavior support, manage caseloads, teach in various settings based on ieps, and conduct ongoing data collection for goal monitoring.

Candidates must possess a valid tennessee teaching certification in special education with specific endorsements (144, 145, 460, or 461) and hold a bachelor's degree. Required knowledge includes idea, state special education rules, and experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities, alongside strong organizational and technology skills.
