Educational Assistant

The primary role involves assisting licensed teachers in classroom or educational settings by preparing materials, conducting activities, and providing one-On-One support to students across various subjects. Responsibilities also include monitoring students in common areas, assisting with administrative tasks, and adhering to safety and disciplinary policies under teacher direction.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged along with basic technology skills, and must meet one of three educational benchmarks: 48 semester hours/72 quarter hours, an associate’s degree or higher, or a passing score on the praxis for parapro exam. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience working with children, and fluency in spanish is required specifically for the esol program role.
