Core responsibilities

The primary role is to ensure students with disabilities learn and achieve their highest potential by identifying individual needs and creating a supportive learning environment, acting as a case manager, data collector, and liaison to parents. This teacher will provide academic and behavior support to ensure student access to tier 1 instruction and proficiency on standard and alternate assessments.

Requirements summary

Candidates must hold a valid tennessee teaching certification in special education with specific endorsements (144, 145, 460, or 461) and a bachelor's degree, or be eligible to obtain a tennessee license if certified elsewhere.
