Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher will lead instruction for students with ieps by designing personalized learning experiences, delivering targeted instruction using innovative resources, and creating comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards. Responsibilities also include fostering an inclusive environment, implementing pbis strategies, tracking student progress, and managing caseload duties like developing and updating ieps.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field and hold or be in the process of obtaining a valid texas state teaching credential and special education instruction credential. Required experience includes curriculum development, differentiation, and working with students with diverse needs, including those with learning disabilities, ebd, and asd, alongside proficiency in crisis management training.
