Certified Special Education Teacher (26-27)

Core responsibilities include providing necessary modifications and accommodations as stated on student ieps, writing appropriate ieps with performance data, and facilitating ard meetings for caseload students. Educators must also plan and teach in deficit areas like reading, writing, and math while supporting general education teachers with classroom accommodations.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and hold the appropriate texas teacher certificate for the assignment, especially for special education positions. Applicants must also be considered highly-Qualified based on nclb guidelines, if applicable, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the kipp texas mission.
