Community Development Specialist

The specialist will provide direct training and support to individuals with disabilities in personal supports, community engagement, and job skills, spending most of the day providing community support to foster independence in employment, volunteering, life, and leisure activities. Responsibilities include providing direct services, ensuring community safety, providing transportation, implementing behavior plans, assisting with daily living skills, and completing mandated documentation.

Candidates must possess or obtain several mandatory certifications, including first aid, cpr, and mandt within specified timeframes, along with all required developmental disabilities administration training within 90 days. A high school diploma/Ged is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred, and applicants must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record and have access to a reliable vehicle.
