Direct Support Professional

This position involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities such as health and personal management, achieving personal goals, recreation, and daily household living. The role also requires maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment to improve functioning and minimize interfering behaviors.

Candidates must possess either a high school diploma/Ged with two years of related experience or an associate's degree with one year of related experience, along with a valid ny driver's license. Essential personal attributes include being flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and having a strong passion for helping children and adults with special needs.
