Core responsibilities
The special education teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in co-Teaching and resource room settings. They will collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure all students have access to a high-Quality education.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field and hold a comprehensive special education, prek–12 (165) connecticut certification. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices are also required.
