Teacher Assistant - Head Start

The teacher assistant supports the head start teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool-Aged children. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom instruction, behavior management, daily routines, and fostering positive relationships with families.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged, with a cda credential or associate's degree in early childhood education preferred. Applicants must also pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and maryland licensing requirements including medical and tuberculosis screening.
