Core responsibilities
The twc advocate is responsible for providing quality case management services to assist youth transitioning out of foster care in achieving their goals, which includes completing intake assessments and coordinating necessary local resources. Essential functions also involve preparing clients for the work environment, monitoring their performance, and developing training partnerships with local businesses.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least four years of related experience working with young adults or youth advocacy; a bachelor's degree in relevant fields is preferred along with two years of professional experience. Candidates must possess a valid texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and must pass pre-Employment screenings including drug tests and criminal background checks.
