Child Development Teacher Aide-Intermittent (South East Early Head Start)

The child development teacher aide primarily supports classroom teachers by assisting with instruction, clerical tasks, and working with students needing extra help at the early head start center. Responsibilities also include ensuring a safe, clean environment conducive to quality educational experiences and parent/Child interactions.

Candidates must be at least eighteen years old and possess a high school diploma or ged. Required certifications include the 90-Hour early childhood education certificate, 45-Hour infant toddler certificate, cda credential, cpr, and first aid, all within specified timeframes after employment.
