Student Assistant, Head Start Program

The student assistant supports center staff in executing a high-Quality, human service, early childhood program by assisting with daily activities, physical care needs, and maintaining a sanitary classroom environment. This role requires active participation in professional development, including enrolling in and completing relevant college courses.

Candidates must be enrolled in college courses, specifically early childhood education courses at the local community college, as this is a learning position intended for those seeking experience in human services or early care and education fields. Applicants must also obtain and maintain pediatric first aid and cpr certification.
