Core responsibilities
The preschool teacher assists in planning, supervising, and implementing childcare programs according to california state guidelines, providing quality care and supervision to groups of children. Responsibilities also include maintaining a safe environment, guiding behavior positively, carrying out activities, ensuring hepa standards, and handling program area setup and cleanup.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 12 units in child development or a related field, along with 6 months of childcare experience. Applicants must complete required certifications and trainings shortly after hiring and must be able to obtain a criminal record clearance.
