Child Care Assistant Teacher I

The role involves providing care for children in assigned groups, focusing on their individual social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development within a set framework. The assistant will help create an environment and provide experiences that foster the child's continuing growth and build feelings of confidence and well-Being.

Required qualifications include completing 40-Clock-Hour child care training (Part i and part ii) plus 5-Clock-Hours in early literacy and language development, or obtaining them within 90 days of hire, along with a current level 2 acha background clearance. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, and 1 to 4 years of classroom experience working with children is preferred.
