Life coaches will develop close, supportive relationships with students to coach them through their treatment progression and implement clinical treatment plans outlined by the treatment team. Responsibilities also include participating in various activities, ensuring a safe environment, and responding to crisis situations using appropriate intervention techniques.

Applicants must be at least 20 years old, possess the physical ability to provide interventions like safety holds, and have a valid driver's license with minimal recent traffic violations for transporting students. Candidates need demonstrated coaching ability, assertiveness to learn about neurodiversity, and strong communication and problem-Solving skills.
