Core responsibilities
The behavior analyst serves as the case manager for student behavioral programming, primarily responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (Bips) based on functional behavioral assessments (Fbas). This role also involves conducting staff training, monitoring bip efficacy through data collection, and implementing crisis management procedures.
Requirements summary
Candidates must maintain certification as a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba) and licensure as a licensed behavior analyst in maryland, along with cpr and professional crisis management (Pcm) certification. A master's degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities are required.
