YMCA Swim Instructors

The instructor will deliver high-Quality, safe swimming lessons by implementing the ymca swim lessons curriculum to teach water skills and safety. Responsibilities also include collaborating with lifeguards, maintaining a clean environment, keeping student records, and following established lesson plans.

Candidates must display the ymca values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and must be at least 16 years old. While specific certifications like wsi or lifeguard are not required initially, cpr & first aid and child abuse prevention training must be completed within 90 days of hire.
