Youth Mentor - Bilingual Preferred

Responsibilities include providing direct supervision and care to male youth in a residential setting, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a safe, trauma-Informed, and culturally sensitive environment. Staff must also mediate problems, utilize de-Escalation techniques when necessary, reinforce treatment plans, and complete required documentation and security checks.

Candidates need a high school diploma/Ged or higher, preferably with experience working with at-Risk or court-Involved adolescents in residential treatment. Essential requirements include maintaining a valid ct driver's license, reliable transportation, the ability to become certified in medication administration and safe crisis management (Scm), and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and mandatory overtime.
