Teacher - English

The english teacher designs standards-Based lesson plans, aligns instruction for grades 6-12 english/Language arts, and uses formal/Informal assessment to monitor student progress toward academic success. They must create a safe, girl-Centered, trauma-Informed classroom environment while conducting academic advising and maintaining accurate documentation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher and hold an active teaching certificate from the florida department of education (Fldoe) for the relevant subject area. Preferred qualifications include comfort teaching mixed-Grade levels and experience in a trauma-Informed youth environment.
