Summer Camp Counselor

The primary duties involve facilitating the summer day camp curriculum and related activities for youth, such as social skills education, arts and crafts, and life skills. Counselors must also develop enhancement activities as needed and adhere to the organization's philosophy in caring for youth while ensuring safe practices.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though coursework in recreation or counseling is a plus. Candidates need one year of experience working with youth in related activities, and skills in organization, communication, teaching, and child development are essential.
