Preschool Floating Teaching Assistant/Aide

This role involves assisting with the implementation of educational strategies, following daily routines, and preparing classrooms to promote cognitive development in children. Responsibilities also include ensuring health and safety standards are met, supervising children, and teaching proper health habits.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or ged; assistant roles additionally require 2,500 hours of experience with children or 30 college credit hours in education or a related field, or an equivalent combination. Preferred qualifications include a child development associate credential or an associate’s degree in early childhood education, which must be met within one year of employment.
