Direct Support Professional

Direct support professionals ensure the safety and health of individuals in the day program while supervising, coaching, and assisting them in achieving daily living goals like cooking and shopping. Responsibilities also include planning and documenting programs to meet social, emotional, and physical needs, as well as facilitating community outings and transportation.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or ged and be at least 18 years old, holding a valid non-Provisional driver's license. Essential qualities include being empathetic and demonstrating a team approach to care, along with mandatory attendance at ten days of paid onsite orientation.
