Swim Instructor 1

The swim instructor plans and instructs basic swim programs following the progression plan, while also assisting with all swim levels to ensure participant progress, safety, comfort, and enjoyment. Responsibilities include evaluating participants, completing progress reports, maintaining rosters, and communicating program information to participants and guardians.

Candidates must be a minimum of 15 years old and currently attending high school, along with any satisfactory combination of education, experience, and training demonstrating the required knowledge and abilities. Strong knowledge of swimming as a life skill, child development, and class management skills are necessary, though no prior experience is required as training is provided.
