Employment Coach - Sylmar

The employment coach mentors individuals with developmental disabilities, providing job development support, including resume building and interview practice, and assisting with job maintenance and community access. A primary goal is developing positive, professional relationships with the assigned individuals and helping them build relationships with coworkers and the community.

Candidates should possess strong organization, communication, and writing skills, and be proficient with computers and online platforms, although two years of college or equivalent experience and prior job development experience are preferred but not required. A commitment to full inclusion, integrated employment for people with disabilities, and person-Centered planning is essential.
