Youth Care Professional I

The youth care professional i supports daily resident functioning by delivering relationship-Based, competence-Centered, and trauma-Informed solutions to promote resident potential and maintain a safe atmosphere. Key duties include engaging youth in productive relationships, providing support services like mentoring and life skills training, and responding appropriately to emergencies using de-Escalation techniques.

A high school diploma or ged is required for this role, along with the ability to demonstrate strong emotional competence, good judgment, and timely documentation skills. Candidates must be able to meet physical demands, including lifting and potentially physically restraining clients, and must obtain cpr certification within 60 days of hire.
