Direct Support Professional - Stafford

The primary objective is to assist and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful, independent lives by helping them maintain health, develop daily living skills, access resources, and build relationships within their community. Essential duties involve providing direct support for daily events, personal care, skill training related to community resources, monitoring health, and offering behavioral support.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and reliable transportation with valid car insurance and a first aid kit. While one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, the role requires the ability to engage and communicate with courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
