Direct Support Professional - Spotsylvania

Direct support professionals assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving independence, maintaining health, developing daily living skills, accessing resources, and engaging fully in their home and community environments. This role involves providing direct support for activities of daily living (Adls), training in community resource use, monitoring health, and offering behavioral support.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and reliable transportation with valid car insurance and a first aid kit. While one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, the role requires the ability to engage and communicate with courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
