1 behavior aide primarily works one-On-One with a student with a disability in a classroom, providing constant support, supervision, and implementing academic and behavioral goals outlined in the student's iep and bip. Essential duties include daily data collection, assisting with transitions, utilizing strategies for positive coping skills, and providing necessary interventions when the student is out of control.

A high school diploma or ged is required for this entry-Level position, though collegiate education in behavioral science or special education is preferred. Candidates must be able to follow directions, maintain professionalism, and possess a valid driver's license and reliable cell phone.
