• Gabriel the Archangel is seeking a responsible and energetic Summer Camp Aide to support the daily operations of the parish summer camp program.
• This role assists camp staff in providing a safe, engaging, and faith-filled environment for children, helping to facilitate activities, supervise campers, and ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
• Job Responsibilities

Assist with the supervision and care of campers throughout the day Support the implementation of daily camp activities, including games, crafts, and group events Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment for all children Set up and clean up activity areas, supplies, and equipment Provide support to lead counselors and staff as needed Monitor camper behavior and report any concerns to supervisors Assist with transitions, snack time, and outdoor activities Promote teamwork, respect, and positive interactions among campers Uphold camp rules, policies, and safety procedures at all times

Job Qualifications

• High school student or graduate preferred Experience working with children in a camp, school, or childcare setting preferred Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain active and engaged throughout the camp day Commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for children Must complete all Archdiocesan requirements, including background check and safe environment training (if applicable) The Archdiocese of St.
